Selling a development through agencies
Published 6 Oct 2026 · ProMLS Realty
Agencies and agents are one of the main ways a development reaches buyers. They also create the most common problem: every salesperson explains the project with different material, and the developer cannot see what is happening.
Three problems that repeat
- Different material. Old brochures, old prices, units that are already sold.
- No visibility. You do not know who sent what to which client, or in what stage each client is.
- Clients walk away with the agent. Conversations and documents live on personal phones.
One source of truth per development
The fix is organizational before it is technical: one current brochure, one current price list and one availability list per development, and every agency works from those. When something changes, it changes in one place.
A practical way to run the channel
- Publish one page per development with units and availability that your agencies can send to their clients.
- Standardize the quote: price, payment plan and costs in one document with the same format for everyone.
- Define the stages of a sale (inquiry, reservation, documents, trust and notary, closing) and ask each agency to report by stage.
- Collect client documents in one place, including the know-your-client file, and review what is missing.
- Measure which agencies bring qualified buyers, not only how many contacts.
What we are building
This is the app described on the agencies page: brochures from your listings sent to clients, quotes, the sales process, client documents and visibility into what each agent does. It is in development and planned for early 2027; the page has a launch list if you want to be told when it opens.
